Church reflection on peeling plastic
September 8, 2009
Saturday morning in Charleston means one thing: cheese grits.
The Tasty Brunch guys at the Charleston farmers’ market make delicious, unabashedly Southern grits and I was on my way to get some when I realized: no cash! Before I could have breakfast I had to hit the ATM.
On my way down Meeting Street I passed Trinity United Methodist Church, which looked lovely in the morning sun. Even more interesting, though, was its reflection in the window of a locksmith’s shop across the street.
The plastic covering on the window was peeling away and created a really unique view of the church. Sometimes delays make for fun adventures. Still, I’m really glad I got this shot AND my cheese grits!
