Tomatoes at the downtown Charleston farmer's market
September 14, 2009
Don’t these tomatoes look good?! They’re locally-grown tomatoes from Owl’s Nest Plantation. Yum!
They almost look like apples. You just can’t beat the downtown farmer’s market! Your choice of beignets, cheese grits or crepes for breakfast and all this fresh produce to eat later with quality you just can’t find at the grocery store!
The farmer’s market opens around 8 a.m. on Saturdays until winter sets in.
