Fort Moultrie
This Sullivan’s Island landmark has has seen action in several of this nation’s wars. From the Revolutionary War to preparations for WWII, this is where the Palmetto State found its nickname.
Currently operated by the National Park Service, Fort Moultrie is in pristine condition. Take a tour inside and out to get a cross-section of U.S. history.
