The rollback menu at Poogan's Porch might be the best deal in town

Plan on Poogan’s this week.  You won’t regret it.  After hearing about the rollback menu (where prices roll back to 1978) since last year, I finally made it into Poogan’s Porch with some friends last Thursday. What a deal!

Take a look at the menu:

Now I played with that a bit in Photoshop, but it’s from a photo I took with my iPhone.  So this is THE menu.  $8.99 shrimp & grits? $9.99 ribeye?  What?!

Entrees and appetizers are discounted.  Desserts and drinks are not.  Nevertheless, it’s great food and great prices.

After trying just about every appetizer on the menu (there were six of us, so…) I went with the shrimp & grits.  I’m not a native Southerner, so I might not be the best judge, but these were fantastic.  Much more of a traditional shrimp & grits than neighbor 82 Queen’s (which is also phenomenal).

Poogan’s Porch is known to be good, but you can’t go wrong with the rollback menu.
